The Shape bicycles jam took place at the Run trail last weekend, under a bright sun ! This event was a success; many people came to the trail and its specific atmosphere, as riders or simply as spectators. A full report will be online soon, as well as many photos (thanks a lot to Antoine and Yoann), which allows you to enjoy the flavour of this first event at the Run trail.

As we’ve known for a couple of months, the Shape bicycles jam will be hold at the Run trail this weekend. Organizers are busy, with fixing details on the jumps, adding a touch of style to the trail, make the Shape bicycles stand without forgetting the riders area. Take note that a BBQ will be available on Saturday evening, a fire will warm the atmosphere and the evening will be without alcohol; at last camping isn’t possible on the trail (lots of houses nearby), as a result make your arrangement outside the spot. The Shape bicycles crew is back after a long trip from Brittany to the Vans Kill the line contest, which took place at Peynier this weekend. The event was just awesome, lots of riders from all over the world took part of the contest, and also a huge crowd came down to the wood. Everybody came to enjoy the beautiful line composed of 9 jumps, on which riders had fun for sure ! The main goal to this trip was obviously to deliver the Shape bicycles trophies for the ceremony. This year, the American riders were the best without a doubt; so Chris Doyle took the win, followed by Mike Hucker Clark and TJ Ellis. A huge congratulations to the Peynier crew; a report will be available on LifeTrail – Webzine, before here are a couple of photos !

After presenting to you the partnership Shape bicycles for the Vans Kill the line contest, we have produced a video about the making of the trophies. As with all Shape bicycles products, we like to follow the manufacturing process, this is why; through this video we’ll discover the machining of these trophies awarded the top 3 riders at Peynier during the first weekend of September.

The Vans Kill the line 2012 will be held at the Peynier trail during the first weekend of September; for the first time Shape bicycles is partner of the event. In fact we have worked closely with our rider Bérenger Cordier and his mate Alex Dropsy to design together the trophies for the event. The latest issue of French Soul BMX magazine has been available for a week. We are proud to see that the Shape bicycles riders took place in this summer issue. On the first hand, a report about a trail trip that Bérenger Cordier was on board (with Max Bimar and Justin Fouque), on the other hand Jared Ball has a sort of interview in the “Soil sample” section (wrote by Theodore Van Orman). Plus, this 76th issue comes with a video where you can watch our English rider Tom Bond who welcomed Bérenger and his mates at the PSA trail during their trip. As a bonus you will also find the Deluxe DVD – Part deux; as a result don’t hesitate and buy a copy of this issue !

15th and 16th of September, Shape bicycles organized a jam at the Run trail; located in northern Brittany. During this event, we’ll be able to meet some of the Shape bicycles riders (Bérenger Cordier and Bruno Abiven), and a booth to discover our products. About riding, all the weekend will be free session, composed of a couple of challenges (best trick, best line, wall ride, skid…) with many prizes to win! Berenger Corider is preparing the Vans Kill the line contest with his mates of the Peynier trail. Even though, he took time to ride and enjoy the different lines of the trail, which promises the best for the first weekend of September!
