The Shape bicycles website remained without news for more than two weeks, and for a good reason as an happy event came to shake our daily routine!
The shape bicycles family has grown with the birth of Loane. She is born on September 2 at 11.23pm, she is 47,5cm tall and weighs 2,6kg.
This is why we have been very busy with this little girl; everybody is healthly and we take our marks together.

The Shape bicycles jam was held during last weekend at the RUN trail. With a bright sun, riders arrived early in the afternoon, including our local rider Bruno Abiven, some friends from Brest town (Franck, Nico…), the expatriate PEF, our local Toine and Antoine from Normandy.
Bruno, Antoine and myself rode the main line, which came very smooth as we have changed the second jump prior to the jam; very good sensation. The small line was ridden by everyone all day long, we even followed each other, almost 10 riders at the same time on the line.
Tee shirts we have printed to reward the best riders, went to Bruno Abiven who made a turndown to x-up on the last jump of the main line, and to Antoine for his style and his 360 on the back jump.
In the late afternoon, the typical rain from Brittany ended the session, so we took the road towards our indoor spot to have a sweet BBQ.
This event is always time to meet friends and to share a very good time down to the trail! Thanks to everyone who came down to the trail, friends, family, this day is always a pleasure for us at Shape bicycles !

We have announced some time ago that we would print specific tee shirts for the 2015 Shape bicycles jam ; we just receive them ! They are dedicated to reward the two best riders of the day, the first for the best style and the second for the best trick.
The finishing touches are made at the RUN trail, grass will be mowed and the refreshment / fresh fruits area will be created.

The video below, show an Australian rider Tyson Jones Peni, in order to promote the TRU frame from United BMX, with its trail geometry and manufactured in the USA by FBM. Beyond this commercial goal (aspect which is not very present in fact), Tyson describes his strong passion for trail between two runs on his home spot. Shape bicycles validates this video and the desire of United BMX to create a dedicated trail frame and especially to show a true rider like Tyson !

The RUN trail has been really busy for several weeks.
In fact, we work hard to finish the new jump after the big berm and we also change the second jump of the main line... Thanks to the help of Bruno Abiven and our best friend T, as a result Shape bicycles will be able to welcome riders in good conditions.
Remember that the jam will be held on August 22nd, with BBQ available for lunch, and free fruits.

As we know, we spent the last weekend in Normandy (North of France), to take part of the GRO trail jam. We took the road on friday night, we discovered the trail by night, the locals were still there to welcome us!
Despite a rainy saturday morning, we were able to fully ride the trail all day long, along with about thirty riders; some tried the big line, but we preferred to hit the main one. Unfortunately a crash of a local ended the session (we wish him a quick recovery), to start the evening around the rebuilt shelter. Sunday morning, we woke up with the rain again, this time it was a strong rain, we decided to leave the trail.

The trail season began several weeks ago, due to the arrival of summer, already the first jams are announced.
This weekend will be held the GRO trail jam, where Shape bicycles will go. Along with Bruno Abiven and his best friend, we can't wait for discovering a new trail and especially share good sessions with friends.

The Shape bicycles trail trip finished more than a week ago, time for everyone to regain his daily rhythm, even if we all wanted to stay on the road...
We left our Brittany on Saturday, May 23rd in the evening, to make a first stop at Saintes and participate to the Bowl the be a trail. Then, we continued down to Bordeaux and Burck trail, Anglet and Urkatu trail, Toulouse and la Source - Hoppy trails. After six days, we began our journey back to Brittany, making a stop at Mont de Marsan and Banos.

The newest Shape bicycles tee shirts that we presented in March, are finally available ! Remind that this new logo was designed by our friend and tattoo artist Franck - Concarn'INK studio, once again a huge thank you to him.
We have printed a first batch of tee shirts, they are available in black, grey or white, sizes S to XXL, still at 19€ (delivered with free stickers which are also designed by Franck)!

Shape bicycles is about to take the road, to make a week long road trip through France. Our crew is composed of four people: Sylvain, Manu, Nico and the Shape bicycles rider Bruno Abiven.
Our plan is simple, the South of France, with several stops like: the Saintes jam, some trails around Bordeaux, Banos trail, la Source at Toulouse, as well as some race tracks and skateparks.
Shape bicycles created a specific design based on his famous 5 branches sprocket; in order to print some tee shirts for this road trip. Take note that we will have some Shape bicycles products with us, and free stickers too !
