Our English rider Tom Bond has sent us a couple of photos of his bike as he made a new paint job for the new trail season ahead. Tom realized a sort of camo colour in order to be hidden in the trees of the PSA trail; from Shape bicycles, he run a 28T sprocket, a black anodized stem and a pair of bar ends. Note that we are working on a signature product for our English rider !

Chris Doyle returned to the USA after attending the Kill the line event, with one of the Shape bicycles trophy specifically made for this event at Peynier. In fact, he won the number one of these masterpieces, which is an honour for us ! Chris was happy to answer some questions about his trophy, below is a part of it (find the whole interview on Lifetrail-Webzine): “The Shape Bicycles trophy remind me of a great contest, great people, and my love for the French BMX scene. The trophy is awesome, and sits on my mantle with a lot of pride. I cannot wait to come back this year and try to win another one of your masterpieces!”

The Shape bicycles’ website is online for 2 years, so we wanted to change a bit its layout. This is why we have changed the photo of the top of the website, in order to emphasize our commitment to this noble element which is earth. Plus, we have modified colors for much simplicity and a better highlighting of the content due to the black background. You should know that we are also working on the website’s functionalities, thanks to our webmaster – Aurélien. Soon, you will be able to find more information about our Instagram and other social network pages, as well as a form for any of your question or request.

Shape bicycles and Deluxe BMX are linked by their common interest in trail, also in product development as Shape bicycles has been in charge of designing some parts for Deluxe BMX. We have got support from them to assemble a new bike, based on a Sacre bleu frame (Max Bimar’s signature), which is aimed to represent and spread the word about both of the brands across France ! You can discover below, this new trail machine which will be ridden at the Run trail, built up with the best parts from both Shape bicycles and Deluxe BMX. A perfect Franco-English association, with new trail season which is about to start soon !

Shape bicycles uploads its social network ! After creating our Instagram profile, we have created our Facebook’s page. By this way, our riders will be able to share directly their activities on our page; as a result you will be able to follow easily all our news ! Bérenger Cordier is back in France after nice trip in the USA ! While his stay, our Shape bicycles rider has prepared an interview for the French magazine ART, which is well illustrated with photos at the Tuttle’s trail, Stephen Murray’s and Heath Pinter’s backyards...etc. In fact, this magazine is now available as a webzine, as a result we won’t have any reason not to read answers of “Guilbert”; in order to learn a bit more about this veteran rider who is a full member of the Shape bicycles adventure !

Kanabeach was one of the sponsors for the first Shape bicycles jam which took place at the Run trail; unfortunately this clothes brand based in Brittany ends lately. Created in 1987 motivated to design funny drawings with a strong passion for surf and Brittany of course ! Shape bicycles wants to thank Kanabeach and Mike particularly, for their support but especially for this funny world that the brand managed to create for more than 25 years; which leaves a void in Brittany and for all enthusiasts of the komet (Kanabeach‘s logo). Our Shape bicycles’ rider Bérenger Cordier is in the USA currently, in California ! He’s well accompanied with Justin Fouque, Moana Moo-caille and a photographer from French magazine ART, they stay there for 2 weeks composed of trails, parks and race ! Bérenger already sent us some news : an awesome meet with Stephen Murray and a session at his own trail, another session at Heath Pinter’s trail, a visit at the Vans’ headquarters and its cement bowl; at last taking time to enjoy the perfect weather... We wish them an epic trip and we’ll be able to read a full report in ART magazine !
