The Ball brothers - video

Our American rider Jared Ball and his brother Jeremy have well enjoyed their trail at the end of the summer. Their friend Elliot Van Orman came walking in the garden of the Ball family, with his camera, in order to film the brother on their home jumps. Take time to enjoy this edit, especially as fall season is well in place here. Thanks a lot to Jared to represent Shape bicycles in the USA !

History about sprocket and tattoo + video

During the Shape bicycles trail trip in UK last summer, I met Dan Prout, the main digger at LP woods. The Dereclict crew and myself were able to enjoy his trail, in the shade of trees; mainly we were able to discuss with Dan, this trail rider with massive tattoos on his both arms. I had a closer look at his arms, I noticed there was a sprocket tattoo on both of his shoulder, which were exactly the same as the Shape bicycles one, with the famous five branches design ! After explaining to Dan this hazardous coincidence, he immediately wanted to get a Shape bicycles sprocket for his bike; in order to emphasize this unexpected inspiration of his tattoos. Such a funny history – enjoy !

Our American rider – Jared Ball enjoys his home trail in the beginning of fall, with his brother Jeremy and their crew from Michigan ! Lots of rain ravaged their trail in late summer; they put lots of efforts in the trail to make it proper and to be able to have a ride before winter. Below, some photos of our Shape bicycles American ambassador. Jared was also part of the beautiful “Manual” book, published by Banos distro in France (which is also a Shape bicycles retailer), with a photo took by T.Van Horman at Pipe dreams - enjoy !

Official launching of the new Shape bicycles front load stems

After publishing a first image of our new stem, it’s available right now ! We officially launch our front load stem, which we developed based on a first idea of Bruno Abiven and completed with all others Shape bicycles riders’ opinion ; this is the reason we called it the “Front load TEAM stem”. We wanted to create a complementary product to our current top load OG stem, which is simple and without any unnecessary details. This is why we chose starting with a front load design and several removing material without compromising strength of the product; all complemented by several engraving logos of the brand. It is available with a split cap (inspired by Jared Ball's cap), stainless steel bolts; raw only, for 94,90€. To know all about this new Shape bicycles’ product, watch the video below – enjoy !
